Oakshire Trails - Pueblo, CO - Weeks of Sept. 18th—Oct. 2nd

On the week of the 18th to the 25th, we were working on the foundation and fire hydrant lines. We started pouring concrete into the stem walls, which are giving shape to the rooms on the ground floor. The lobby area and offices have all been formed.

City engineers and our consultants have been performing rebar, plumbing, soil density and concrete inspections, all of which we passed.

Double J continued their work on the fire hydrant line, working from east to west. All in all, everything went as expected.

Next week on Monday we finished the concrete forms and the stem walls. We also began with the foundation insulation on the west side of the building, and completed the waterproofing of the elevator pit. Double J came out and completed their fire line pipes.

On Wednesday, we focused on filling in the fire line trenches and having the insulation put in, which was completed by Thursday morning. The billboard for Thursday afternoon's groundbreaking ceremony arrived on Wednesday, and we assembled it in time for the event.

After Thursday's ceremony, we worked on the parking lot grading, which is getting closer to final grading. The electricians continued their under slab piping with the conduit. The slab conduit was inspected on Friday, and we passed.

Over the next couple weeks, we will continue to grade the parking lot, and expect the surveyors to come out on Wednesday morning to put in the curb stakes.

Stay tuned for the next update in two weeks!
