Three LIHTC Developments from the 2020 Round

Trinity Housing Development is honored to announce the award of three LIHTC developments in Texas from the 2020 round!
First up is Beaumont Trails and just as the name suggests, is in beautiful Beaumont, Texas. As the City website so perfectly states, “Beaumont is home to astonishing biodiversity and historical significance. Here, history was made with the first major oil discovery that changed the world forever. Travelers come from long distances to enjoy Southeast Texas' outdoor opportunities including fishing, hunting, birding, paddling and yes, holding live alligators. On the border of Louisiana but thoroughly Texan, Beaumont embraces both brisket and crawfish. Whether you’re visiting us for a week or just a weekend, you will find comfortable and friendly accommodations along with a variety of things to do, shopping and dining options.”
Trinity Housing Development is thrilled to bring 60 affordable and market-rate apartments for Seniors 55 and older to this community. The property will be a 3-story building with elevator service and a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments. As always, our projects include energy-efficient appliances and luxury vinyl plank flooring in the units. The common space will feature computers for residents to utilize, an activity area for art classes that will be held for the residents, a plush tv lounge to watch a movie with neighbors, a fitness center, an area for games and reading, along with a common kitchen/dining area to allow residents to gather or host a party of their own!
The next project is Brenham Trails, located in Brenham, Texas. Brenham is known as “The Texan’s Texas” where you feel the pride of Texas! Brenham is renowned as the heart of the bluebonnet region in Central Texas. The local chamber of commerce promotes the Bluebonnet Trails and offers free maps to guide visitors along the most scenic wildflower routes. Another fun fact…Blue Bell ice cream got it’s start in Brenham. You can visit the little creamery and learn about how Texas’ favorite treat was made!
It goes without saying, we look forward to adding affordable and market-rate housing to this fantastic city! Brenham Trails will have 49 one- and two-bedroom apartments available to lease to Seniors 55 and older. This development will also be a 3-story building with elevator to the apartments built with our high standard of quality materials and energy efficiency. The common space will also include computers for resident’s use, an activity area for art classes, a fitness center, a common kitchen/dining area to allow residents to gather for a potluck or host a family gathering. Brenham Trails will also have a theatre room with comfy seating to share in a movie night with neighbors! Another fun feature of this property…the outdoor amenities! Brenham Trails will have a dog park for your 4-legged family members along with an outdoor pavilion with BBQ!
Lastly, but certainly not least, is Ennis Trails! Ennis, Texas is located just about 35 miles south of Dallas. The following description found on the City of Ennis’ website illustrates the heart of this amazing town:

Trinity Housing Developers is proud to be selected to add affordable housing to this deserving community! This project will be a family community with 72 units comprised of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. All apartments will also have balconies and/or patios to enjoy the beautiful weather right outside their homes! The community building at Ennis Trails will also include computers available to assist with school projects and research, an activity area, a fitness center, a common kitchen/dining area to promote community, while also providing flexibility for residents to use to host a large family gathering or birthday party! There will also be community laundry available at the community building, so no need to make trips to the laundry mat!
