It has been a busy few weeks at Oakshire Trails. Monday Jan. 18th started out with a test of the fire coating paint on the steel, and we passed it. The next day the framers went to work on the steel again, while the painters applied the rest of the fire paint to the bottom of the steel columns. Afterwards, the framers built the south wall and a couple more interior bearing walls. Read More

As the end of November brought with it plenty of snow, Monday morning meant that we were shoveling the building slab clear, and by the end of the day it was ready to go. Read More

As planned, on Monday we started the curb and gutter on the parking lot, which we put in from north to south towards the building entrance. Tuesday morning we began pouring concrete at 4 AM, and finished the building slab. Read More

On the week of the 18th to the 25th, we were working on the foundation and fire hydrant lines. We started pouring concrete into the stem walls, which are giving shape to the rooms on the ground floor. The lobby area and offices have all been formed. Read More

Monday the 7th was Labor Day, which meant that work began first thing Tuesday morning. Black Hills Energy started trenching for the electrical lines to run them into the connection cabinet. They finished this on Wednesday and filled in the trench, so that we had usable power on the site by Thursday, all of which passed electrical inspections. Read More
